Chapter Fifteen

Cimarron tried to protest that he didn’t understand what she meant. But with his mouth covering hers, she couldn’t speak. Her thoughts were in turmoil as his seeking mouth dominated hers, his tongue moving between her lips, caressing her tongue.

His hands were hot as flames on her bare shoulders, and her legs seemed to buckle under her. Without even realizing it, she leaned against him, her bare breasts pressed against his black shirt. Her nipples grew taut and sensitive as they brushed against his hard chest.

She tried to protest, but his tequila-tasting mouth only drove deeper into hers when her lips parted. His hands moved down her bare shoulders, one arm pulling her against him, the other hand coming around to stroke her breasts until she trembled with the sensation of his fingers touching her nipples.

Without meaning to, she moaned aloud. Against her mouth, he gasped, “I want you, too, darlin’, I want you....”

She couldn’t stop herself from sliding her tongue between his open lips, touching, stroking the inside of his hot mouth with her darting blade. Cimarron knew by the way he trembled and pulled her hard against him that she had excited him almost to the breaking point.

Are you loco, Cimarron? she asked herself, are you some bitch in heat, eager to be taken by the first male who comes along? No, not any male, her body told her with mounting excitement, this male.

She couldn’t restrain herself from pressing closer to his heat, feeling the hard maleness of him pushing against her body.

She shouldn’t be here, she thought wildly, but she couldn’t pull away. His strong arms lifted her, pulled her blouse down further until his hot, wet lips encircled her nipple, sucking, biting until she moaned and shook. Warm wetness smeared her dainty lace underclothing as she felt her eager body prepare itself for the mating.

His mouth nuzzled her breasts like a greedy child and the sensation made her insides tremble, wanting him ... wanting him....

“I—I’ve got to go back,” she murmured, “I can’t—”

“You asked me, remember?” he reminded her, and his wet mouth went up her neck, breathed warmly into her ear until she trembled with the feeling. “I want you, Wild One, I’ve wanted you since the first moment I saw you, and you want me, too, you know you do.”

She tried to tell him he was mistaken, but her face turned up to his, accepting, no, demanding the caress of his lips. All her body could think of was lying on the soft grass under the oleanders with this cowboy riding her as hard and skillfully as he tamed a wild bronc.

“Trace ...” she began, but he interrupted her, his breath coming in short, hard gasps.

“When I finish loving you, darlin’, you’ll do things you never dreamed of doing to a man, let me do things to you....” His mouth covered hers again, his hands cupping her face as she swayed against him.

“Trace, your leg—”

“The hell with my leg,” he swore as his hand cupped her breast.
